Boat Safety Certificate

A number of navigation authorities require the four yearly Boat Safety Scheme check to help prevent fire, explosion and pollution. The Boat Safety Scheme certificate, along with boat insurance, is required in order to obtain a navigation license. An increasing number of marinas also require the Boat Safety Scheme certificate as part of a mooring agreement.

Being an experienced Boat Safety Scheme examiner and having lived and worked on the waterways for many years, Chris Williams is able to guide boat owners through the required checks of the Boat Safety Scheme examination, using clear and understandable language.

Holding the required Gas Safe Registration & Boat Safety Scheme qualifications, Chris is able to undertake the examination and issue a Boat Safety Scheme certificate on all types of vessel, including private pleasure, live aboard, house boat, hire and commercial boat.
